Mr Simpson's path ultimately led him to the Peripheral Nerve Injury Unit at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital - one of the few centres in the world dedicated to complex nerve surgery.
As a Consultant Peripheral Nerve Surgeon, he specialises in treating both adults and children with complex conditions including:
